HP Board is going to promote students of Himachal Pradesh State Board from Class 1 to Class 9 and Class 11 to the next grade without exams. In addition, the result of these classes will not be declared and promotion will be given directly. Himachal Pradesh Government has taken this decision to promote school students of Class 1 to Class 9 and Class 11 due to the outbreak of Coronavirus. It is to note that HP Board has not released any notification regarding HPBOSE Class 10 and Class 12 Examination 2020 as of now. For latest and original updates, students must only rely only on the information provided on the official website of the board.
Earlier to this, CBSE Board, JKBOSE and HBSE board have also decided to promote school students from Class 1 to Class 8/class 9 to the next grade either directly or on the basis of school-based assessments. The boards across India are taken this decision due to the outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic.
Apart from this, boards like CBSE and CISCE have also warned students to not believe in fake rumors that are being published on social media regarding exam dates, result, etc. The boards have advised students and parents to visit the official website and social handles of the boards for genuine and original updates regarding exams.
In the meantime, many entrance examination such as JEE Main and NEET UG Exam are also postponed due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. Further, entrance examinations such as UPSC Civil Services Personality Test and IAF exams are also postponed amid Coronavirus outbreak.
