The candidates who have appeared for ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 examinations, we have a piece of important news for you. The news may take you heart beat up a little bit, but we are sure you all must be waiting for this one very eagerly. An official on Tuesday told PTI that the results of ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 examinations will be announced on May 7.
CISEC Chief Executive and Secretary Gerry Arathoon said, "The council will announce the results at 3 pm on May 7. The results will be made available through CAREERS portal, the website of the council and through SMS."
The results of ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 will be first be formally announced by the council after which it will be published on its official website i.e cisce.org. For results through SMS, candidates will have to type ICSE or ISC followed by their seven-digit unique ID code and send the message to 09248082883.
It is to be noted that the CISCE board uses the Live Ink Character Recognition (LICR) technology for past few years to render CISCE ICSE Result in a swifter manner. Since the integration of the LICR technology, the CISCE ICSE Result has been declared in a record time.
Last year, the result for classes 10 and 12 were declared on May 14. Class 10 results recorded a pass percentage of 98.5 per cent, while 96.21 per cent of the students passed Class 12 exam. Mumbai's Swayam Das was the Class 10 all-India topper with a score 99.4 per cent. Seven students have topped the Class 12 exam with an identical score of 99.5 per cent.
