IGCSE exam results 2017 for class 10, 11 and 12A- equivalent declared at cie.org.uk

The results for the Class 10 equivalent International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and Class 11, 12 A level exams were declared on Thursday. The exams were held specially for India in the month of March.

The results for the Class 10 equivalent International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and Class 11, 12 A level exams were declared on Thursday. The exams were held specially for India in the month of March.

More than 34,000 appeared for the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) tests, the number is up by 29 per cent compared to the previous years.

With more than 26,000 entries for Cambridge IGCSE this year, an increase of 31% was witnessed. The entries for Cambridge International AS & A Level (which allows students access to top global universities) is up by 21 per cent in March 2016 with over 7,000 entries, according to a statement released by the CIE.

Ruchira Ghosh, regional director for South Asia, Cambridge International Examinations said, “The significant growth of our March exam series since its introduction in 2015, in particular for a cross-curricular subject like Global Perspectives that cultivates critical thinking, research, and collaboration skills is testament to the passion for learning shown by Cambridge students across India. I would like to congratulate everyone getting their results today, and thank the teachers and parents who guided them to success.”
