The long wait has come to an end as the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) declared the JAC Class 10th Results for the academic session 2017-18 around 4 pm on Tuesday.
The overall pass percentage in the Madhyamik examination is 59.48 per cent. Out of 2,08,701 boys, who had appeared for the examination, 61.79 per cent have cleared the same. Among girls, the pass percentage is 57.29 per cent. District wise Hazaribagh has recorded the highest pass percentage of 74.45 per cent followed by Ranchi 72.93 per cent.
The JAC has made the results available at its official website - jac.nic.in, jac.jharkhand.gov.in and jacresults.com. "After the formal announcement, the results will also be uploaded on JAC's website," JAC chairperson Arvind Prasad Singh told a leading daily.
In order to avoid heavy traffic, students may also log into other third-party websites such as examresults.net and indiaresults.com. Candidates are advised not to visit jharresults.nic.in - another result hosting portal of Jharkhand, as it has not been updated since 2016.

Steps to check JAC Class 10th Result 2018:
Step 1: Visit the official websites - jac.nic.in, jac.jharkhand.gov.in, jacresults.com
Step 2: Click on the tab ‘Jharkhand Board 10th Result 2018’
Step 3: Provide important details such as Roll Number
Step 4: Click on Submit
Step 5: Jharkhand Class 10th Result 2018 will be displayed on the screen
Step 6: Download your JAC Class 10th result
Step 7: Take a print out of the same for future reference

Earlier, the Jharkhand Academic Council successfully conducted the Class 10th examination between March 8 to March 21. This year around 4,31,734 candidates have appeared for the JAC Class 10th examination in 954 centres across the state. Out of these, 2,54,830 students have qualified the exam.
In the Class 12th result declared on June 7, 48.34 per cent students have cleared the exam in Science stream while 67.49 per cent students have passed the exam in Commerce stream.
