Days long wait has come to an end as the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Saturday announced the results for UGC NET 2018, according to reports. The agency has made the results available at its official website i.e. ntanet.nic.in. The First UGC NET Examination was conducted by NTA between 18 December to 22 December 2018 in 235 cities across India. The December edition of the National Eligibility Test (NET) was held in two shifts - 9.30 am to 1 pm and 2.30 pm to 6 pm. This was the first time that NTA has conducted the UGC NET exam. Prior to this the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the exam. Aspirants need to clear the examination for Assistant Professor post.
Earlier, NTA had activated the answer key link for the exam and candiadtes who appeared for the December edition of UGC NET or NTA NET were given chance to raise objections to the same till January 1, 2019. According to reports, more than 9 lakh candidates had registered for the exam.
