New Delhi:
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will announce the results of Common Proficiency Test (CPT) examination along with the CA Final (old course and new course) and foundation examination today i.e. January 23, 2019. As per the official notification, the ICAI will announce the results at around 6 pm.
The exam for CA Final was held on November 1, 3, 5, 9, 11, 13, 15 & 17, 2018, the exam for CA Foundation was conducted on November 11, 13, 15 & 17, 2018 and that for CPT was held on December 16, 2018.Soon after the official announcement, candidates can visit the official websites icaiexam.icai.org, caresults.icai.org and icai.nic.in to check and download the results.
Alternatively, students can also check the ICAI Results through SMS service provided by the institute. For the convenience of the students, we have elaborated the process through which the candidates can get their results:
To get the CA Result 2018 by email:
The candidates will first have to visit the official website of the institute i.e. icaiexam.icai.org.
On the homepage of the website, the candidates need to log in by clicking on 'Login/ Register' tab.
Enter their Login ID and Password.
Submit the login details, after which, click on the 'Email Registration' link.
In the next screen, the candidates have to provide their Name, Roll Number, E-mail id and then click on the ‘Register Me’ button.
To get the CA Result 2018 by SMS:
CA Final Result 2018 through SMS (New Course): CAFNLNEW (space)XXXXXX (Where XXXXXX is the six digit Final examination roll number of the candidate) , e.g. CAFNLNEW 000128. Sent the message to 58888.
CA Final Result 2018 through SMS (Old Course): CAFNLOLD (space) XXXXXX (Where XXXXXX is the six digit Final examination roll number of the candidate), e.g. CAFNLOLD 000128. Sent the message to 58888.
CA Foundation Result 2018 through SMS: CAFND (Space)XXXXXX (where XXXXXX is the six digit Foundation Examination roll number of the candidate), e.g. CAFND 000171. Sent the message to 58888.
CPT Foundation Result 2018 through SMS: CACPT(Space)XXXXXX (where XXXXXX is the six digit Common Proficiency Test roll number of the candidate) , e.g. CACPT 000171. Sent the message to 5888.
