The Central Board of Secondary Education concluded the Class 10 and 12 annual examinations on March 29 and April 3, 2019 and according to over 31 lakh students appeared for the board examination this year.
The Board recently issued a circular saying that the results will be declared in May and mentioned the schedule for activating the link for verification of marks, obtaining the photocopy of answer books and applying for the re-evaluation of the papers.
"Immediately after the declaration of the results, the processes referred to above will start. In order to make the schools, students and parents aware about the proceses, the schedule as under may be disseminated to them so that they are aware of the schedule well in advance and can plan accordingly." read the circular on the official website
The link for the verification of marks will open on the next day of declaration of results, while that for obtaining photocopies of answer book will open '17th day of declaration of result'.
Candidates can apply for re-evaluation only 21 days after the results are declared and the process will end in one day. Candidates applying for the same has to pay Rs 100 per question.
Speaking to the media, the board secretary Anurag Tripati had earlier said, “The Class 10, 12 results are likely to be declared between May 13 to 17, 2019. The class 12 results will be announced first, following which the CBSE will declare the class 10 results on the official website.
The evaluation process for the Class 10 and 12 board examinations has begun. The board is set to release the results in advance compared to the previous years.
