Union Textiles Minister Smriti Irani has all the reasons to feel on top of the world. Like all other appreciative mother, the BJP leader on Monday took great pride to announce her daughter's commendable performance in CBSE Class 10 examination 2019, the result for which has been declared this afternoon. Zoish Irani, the daughter of the actor-turned-politician, has secured an impressive 82 per cent marks in her CBSE Class 10 examination to make the family proud.
Taking to twitter, Irani wrote, "10th board results out. Daughter scored 82%. Proud that inspite of challenges she has done well. Way to go Zoe".

Amid her electoral contest this Lok Sabha elections, Irani's son Zohr also brought her an early joy by securing an outstanding 91 per cent marks in his CBSE Class 12 examination. CBSE Class 12 result 2019 was declared on May 2.
Sharing her joy with friends and followers, an excited Irani wrote, "Ok saying it out loud? proud of my son Zohr..not only did he come back with a bronze medal from the World Kempo Championship also scored well in 12 th boards. Best of 4 - 91% .. special yahoo for 94% in economics.. Maaf karna , today I'm just a gloating Mom".

In a surprise move, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday declared the Class 10 results 2019 without any prior notice at its website. However, students who have appeared for their CBSE Class 10 examination can now check their results at the official websites of the board that are - cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.nic.in.
Alternatively, students can also log on to www.newsnation.in/board-results in order to avoid heavy traffic on the official website of the board. For the convenience of the students, we have activated a direct link along with the step by step process to download their CBSE Class 10 results 2019.

This year, of the 17,61078 appeared candidates, around 92.45 per cent have qualified in the CBSE Class 10 examination. Like CBSE Class 12 examination, girls yet again outperformed boys by a margin of 2.31 per cent.
Thirteen students bagged the first rank with 499 out of 500 marks. The second and third rank were shared by 24 and 58 students, respectively. A total of 2.25 lakh students scored above 90 per cent and 57,256 scored above 95 per cent.
The Trivandrum region performed the best with a pass percentage of 99.85, followed by Chennai and Ajmer with 99 and 95.89 respectively. Delhi ranked second last with a pass percentage of 80.97 and Guwahati was last with 74.49.
