Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE Class 12 results were declared yesterday in a record 28 days to faciliate admission for UG Courses.
The board will open the process for accepting re-verification of the CBSE Class 12 Result 2019 from today for candidates who are not happy with their marks. The results were declared yesterday afternoon and are now available on cbseresults.nic.in.
Step by step process for re-verification and re-valuation is explained below.
Re-verification refers to re-checking or re-totalling of the marks and checking if any question was left un-marked. No answer would be re-read or re-evaluated under this process. Under re-evaluation the teachers or evaluators would go through the answers and re-assess whether it has been marked correctly.
Also, students cannot directly apply for re-valuation. Students must follow the step of first applying for re-verification. If not convinced, students can then request for the photocopies of their answer sheets. After getting the answer sheets, students can then apply for re-valuation.
The link for the verification of marks will open today, while that for obtaining photocopies of answer book will open '17th day of declaration of result'.
CBSE would check the marks and release the re-verification result on the same portal in a couple of days time. Students would have to keep a check on the status of their verification of marks request on the portal.
Once the verification is complete and in case you are still not satisfied, then you need to apply for the photocopy of the answer sheets. Candidates need to pay Rs. 700 per subject for getting the photo-copies.
If the candidates wat their answer to re evaluated, they apply for re-evaluation only 21 days after the results are declared and the process will end in one day. Candidates applying for the same has to pay Rs 100 per question.
Status of revaluation shall be uploaded on the website followed by a formal letter by speed post.
