ICSE Class 10 Results 2019: 'The boy made me proud', Priyanka Chaturvedi tweets as son scores 96%

Priyanka Chaturvedi's joy and happiness know no leaps and bounds! The newly inducted Shiv Sena member, who was eagerly awaiting her son's ICSE Result 2019, on Tuesday announced that the boy has made her proud by securing a commendable 96 per cent marks in the Class 10 examination. The former Congress leader also extended her best wishes to all those students who got their ICSE Class 10 results this afternoon.

Taking to twitter, Chaturvedi wrote, "And the boy has made me proud with 96%! Groups hug to all mums from my son’s tenth grade who made this shared journey helpful and the stress lighter! To all the ICSE students who have got their 10th results today, my best wishes and congratulations!".

On Monday too, while 'nervously waiting' for her son - Aarnav's ICSE Class 10 results, Chaturvedi took to twitter and congratulated all the CBSE students for securing good marks in their respective board examinations. The results for CBSE Class 10 exams were declared on Monday.

"As I nervously wait for my son’s ICSE 10th results tomorrow here is a big shoutout to all the CBSE students for having done well. Remember, marks do not determine your knowledge, wisdom & intellect. You are the shapers of your destiny, make it happy! Congratulations & Best Wishes!" she wrote.

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has announced the results for ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 examination at around 3 pm on Tuesday. The students who have appeared for their Class 10 and Class 12 examination can now check their results on the official website of the board i.e. cisce.org.

Alternatively, students may also log on to english.newsnationtv.com/board-results in order to avoid heavy traffic at the official website of the CISCE. Keeping in mind the conveninece of the students, we have activated a direct link along with the step-by-setp process to download the ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 results.

Following the earlier trends, giirls yet again outshone boys in both the examination, with two students scoring 100 per cent marks. This is the first time that students have secured a picture-perfect 100 per cent marks in the ISC exam.

While girls achieved a pass percentage of 99.05 per cent in class 10 examination as against 98.12 per cent by boys, the pass percentage achieved by girls in class 12 examination is 97.84 per cent as against 95.40 per cent of boys.

Mumbai's Juhi Rupesh Kajaria and Muktsar's Manhar Bansal topped the class 10 ISCE examination with 99.60 per cent. The second rank has been shared by ten students with 99.40 per cent marks and the third rank has been shared by 24 students with 99.20 per cent marks.

Kolkata's Dewang Kumar Agarwal and Bengaluru's Vibha Swaminathan topped the class 12 ISC examination with 100 per cent marks. The second rank has been shared by 16 students with 99.75 percent and the third rank has been shared by 36 students with 99.50 per cent marks.
