Much to the students' delight, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) on Saturday, 11 days before the scheduled date - January 31, 2019. The board has made the results available at its official website which is jeemain.nic.in. This is the first time that JEE Main, the national level online competitive examination has been conducted entirely in the computer-based (online) mode. Prior to 2019, the entrance examination was conducted by the Central Board of Higher Secondary Education (CBSE) in pen and paper-based or offline mode. Over 9 lakh candidates have registered for the same. JEE Main 2019 examination carries 360 marks and was held for a duration of 3 hours between January 8 and January 12. While the results of Paper I has been declared today, the NTA will conduct the JEE Main Paper II examination in April 2019.
Unlike previous years, the JEE Main 2019 result will be available in percentile form, increasing the chances for more than one top scorer. Meanwhile, candidates who have appeared for the JEE Main 2019 and are waiting eagerly to check their results may go through the following steps.
Check out the steps to download your JEE Main 2019 Results:
Step 1: Go to the official website, jeemain.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on ‘download results’ link.
Step 3: Fill in with registration number, roll number and click on submit.
Step 4: The results will be appeared on the screen.
Step 5: Download and take a print out of the same for future convenience.
"After the JEE Main April 2019 Exam, the Ranks of the candidates will be released taking into consideration better of the two NTA Scores of all candidates appeared in January 2019 and April 2019 examinations," the agency said in a release.

Besides, the agency has also released the list of state-wise toppers and their NTA Scores in Paper-1. Navneet Jindal has scored 99.9990830 per cent marks to top the January edition of JEE Main 2019 examination in Delhi. Check out the full list here:
