Days long wait has come to an end as the Railways Recruitment Board (RRB) has finally declared the result for the RRB ALP, Technician CBT 2 result 2018-19 on Saturday. The computer-based test (CBT) stage 2 exam took place on January 21, 22, 23 and February 9 in order to fill up 64,371 vacant posts of the auto loco pilot (ALP) and technician at its regional websites.
However, the RRB is yet to activate the direct links for the results of Siliguri, Malda, Jammu, Chandigarh and Thiruvananthapuram region. Aspirants who qualify the examination will now be allowed to appear for the computer-based aptitude test followed by document verification (DV) in order to be selected for the existing posts.
The next round of exam - Aptitude Test - will be conducted on April 16, 2019. However, there is no negative marking in the Aptitude Test. Guidelines and a sample mock test will be available soon on regional RRB websites from April 10 onwards. The final results will be declared based on a merit list created by accommodating all the score from CBT 1, CBT 2, DV and AT.Â
The qualifying cut off for RRB ALP CBT 2 exam is 35. However, it may vary from region to region and is available on the respective websites.

Step 2: Click on the link ‘check RRB, ALP, Tech 2 scorecard’
Step 2: You will be redirected to a new page
Step 3: Log-in using the registration number
Step 4: Click on submit
Step 5: Result will appear on the screen
Step 6: Download your result carefully
Step 7: Take a print out of the same future convenience

Candidates will have to qualify in each of the test of computer-based AT in order to be selected for the post of ALP. While the AT has 30 per cent weightage in the final merit list, the marks obtained in the part A of the second Stage CBT constitutes 70 per cent marks.

Railway Recruitment Control Board (RRB), the government organisation, was set up in 1998 in the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), New Delhi. It manages the appointment of new employees to work in Indian railways. There are 21 boards situated in different parts of India. For the posts of ALP and Technician, the RRB conducts computer based examination.
