The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) on Saturday finally released the results for the PCS Pre-Examination 2018. Candidates who have appeared for the UPPSC PCS Pre-Examination can check their results on the official website of UPPSC i.e. uppsc.up.nic.in. For the 988 vacant posts in Uttar Pradesh Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services, a total of 19,096 candidates have been qualified in the examination, which took place on October 28, 2018. The UPPSC had rescheduled the date of prelims exam due to rise in applications. Earlier, the examination was scheduled to be held on 19 August, 2018.

Those who will qualify the Preliminary Exam will be allowed to appear in the UPPSC Mains Exam. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the final round of interview followed by the mains (written) examination. Candidates will have to fill up the prescribed application form before appearing in the Interview (viva-voce test).

How to check UPPSC PCS 2018 pre results?
Step 1: Visit the official website, uppsc.up.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the 'Result Link'.
Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page.
Step 4: Log-in using the registration number.
Step 5: Result will appear on the screen.
Step 6: Take a print out of the same for future convenience.
This year, the commission has received over 6.5 lakh applications for the UPPSC PCS preliminary exam, out of which 39,8630 candidates have finally appeared in the examination. Last year, the total number of applications were around 4.5 lakh.
