New Delhi:
As many as 182 school drop-outs and Madrasa students completed the Bridge Course, according to a statement by the Ministry of Minority Affairs.
Of 260 students trained under the Bridge Course, 182 students had successfully completed the course, the statement said, adding Minority Affairs minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi will distribute certificates to the successful candidates on Saturday.
The Ministry of Minority Affairs had started the Bridge Course in collaboration with Jamia Millia Islamia University to bring students pursuing their studies in Madras and school drop outs into mainstream education system.
The ministry had also started a training programme to link Madrasa teachers with the mainstream education system.
