Minister of State for HRD Upendra Kushwaha on Monday ruled out government’s plan to rank Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) in the country.
“No such proposal is under consideration at present to rank the Kendriya Vidyalayas,” Kushwaha told the Lok Sabha.

The ministry officials had said that the KVs would be ranked in four categories after an assessment under seven parameters, including academic performance.
