According to School Education Department, Civil Secretariat, Jammu, Students of Class 1 to Class 9 of Jammu Division are going to be promoted without Annual Exams due to the outbreak of Coronavirus. In addition to this, Jammu Division Class 11 Students will also be promoted to Class 12 in view of COVID-19 Pandemic. All school students of Jammu Division from Class 1 to Class 9 and Class 11 under Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education are going to be promoted to the next grade without annual exams.
Promotion of Jammu Division School Students
The decision to promote students of Class 1 to Class 9 of Jammu Division to next grade as one time exemption is take in the wake of Coronavirus Outbreak. In addition, class 11 students of Jammu division are also going to be promoted to Class 12 standard. Earlier, many state board have also taken the decision to promote students from Class 1 to 9 to the next grade without examination due to the Coronavirus pandemic outbreak.

Earlier, CBSE has also taken the decision to promote all students from Class 1 to Class 8 to the next grade. It is to note that CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 Board exams 2020 revised timetable has not been released as of now. Also, CBSE has released an official notification stating that the board will conduct the remaining board exams 2020 for 29 key subjects only that are required for admission to higher studies.
At this point of time, the country is going through the period of lockdown and everyone is advised to stay at home and follow all precautionary measures to combat the issue of COVID-19 Pandemic.
