The countdown to the school board exams for class 10th and 12th students have begun. Students usually are under a lot of pressure to well in their exams.

To help students cope up with the exam pressure, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has penned a book, ‘Exam Warriors’. The book was launched in Delhi on Saturday in the presence of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Prakash Javadekar.

Exam Warriors, published by renowned Penguin Random House aims to boost up the confidence of students during the difficult and stressful days of examination. The focus should remain on knowledge rather than just marks, mentions the book.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his book, has given tips on how to advance students with positive thinking at three different levels. He has explained in detail on how to focus on quality study and not just run after the marks. He has also included a series of yoga asanas and breathing exercises for the students so as to overcome stress.

PM Modi has also given the examples of APJ Abdul Kalam and Sachin Tendulkar to motivate the students.

The book which has 25 chapters include mantras like ‘’Exams are like festivals, celebrate them”, “Be your own anchor, celebrate your strengths” and “To cheat is to be cheap”. Exam Warriors has been priced reasonably at Rs 100.

Prakash Javadekar while speaking at the launch said, ‘’education is an important tool in development and progress because it opens various doors to the opportunities of achieving better prospects in life’’.  

He further reiterated PM Modi’s Mantra of treating exams as a festival and not a source of tensions and stress.

CBSE has announced the board exam dates for class 10th and 12th students. Over 25 lakh students from all across India will give the CBSE exams commencing from March 5.
