The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu has released the time table for class 10th students today on the official website of the board.

The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu has released the time table for class 10th students today on the official website of the board. The candidates can easily check the dates by logging on to dge.tn.gov.in. According to the dates released by the board, the class 10th examination will start from March 14 and will continue till March 29. DGE is the state board that conducts examinations for class 10th, 11th and 12th at the state level.

We have mentioned the dates below for the convenience of the students:

14 March 2019  – Language Paper 1

18 March 2019  – Language Paper 2

20 March 2019  – English Paper 1

22 March 2019  – English Paper 2

23 March 2019  – Optional Language

25 March 2019  – Mathematics

27 March 2019  – Science

29 March 2019  – Social Science



In  2018, 10,01,140  students appeared for the SSLC board exams out of which 4,76,057 were girls and 4,74,340 were boys. The overall pass percentage in TN SSLC exam this year was 94.5%. The overall pass percentage of girls was 96.4%, while for boys it was 92.5%. The top 3 districts score wise are: Sivagangai-98.5%, Erode-98.38% and Virudhanagar-98.29%.  

The Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education (TNBSE) was established to evaluate and regulate the education standards in the state. The TN Board of Secondary Education has around 30,000+ affiliated schools in the state. It conducts the Tamil Nadu SSLC Exam and HSC Exam to evaluate the students of standard 10th and 12th. The colleges and other educational institutions for the admission for further studies consider the Tamil Nadu Board results.
