The Class 10th and 12th examination date sheet has been released by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad on its official website at upmsp.edu.in for 2018.
While the High School exams will begin from February 6 and end on February 22, the Intermediate exams will end on March 10.
Announcing the schedule, UPSEB secretary Neena Srivastava said that after 27 years the time-table has been released two months before the declaration of annual holiday calendar.
The early announcement of dates, she said, has been done on the directive of deputy chief minister Dinesh Sharma. The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad is also expected to announce new measures to keep a tab on all kinds of malpractices, cheating and fraud taking place during the examination period.
Nearly 67.29 lakh students have registered for the examinations, 6.68 lakh more than those who registered in 2017. As many as 37,12,508 students have registered online for class X examinations. Of them, 1,14,367 would appear as private candidates.
A total of 30,17,032 students, have registered for class XII examination. Of them, 1,53,039 are private candidates.
