CAT Registration 2018: Last date to apply today

New Delhi:

Common Admission Test (CAT) online registrations will end today. Candidates who have not registered yet need to apply before 5pm. Registrations can be done on the official website of IIM CAT. 

CAT 2018 exam has been scheduled on November 25, 2018 and the admit cards for the exam will be generated on October 24, 2018.

CAT is the entrance examination for admission into the 20 Indian Institutes of Management and other business schools. There are about 3800 seats across the IIMs. About 2,50,000 students appear in the examinations every year.

CAT Registration 2018: How to apply

1. Candidates need to visit the official website of IIM CAT.
2. Click on the 'New Candidate Registration' link.
3. Fill in the details and an OTP will be generated.
4. Get your User ID and password and then login on the homepage to fill the application form. The candidates will have to select any four test cities as per their preference from the drop-down menu while applying.
5. After the form submission, candidate will receive his registration number.

CAT Registration 2018: Application fee

1. General category: Rs 1,900
2. SC, ST, PWD category: Rs 950

CAT exam paper has four sections, verbal ability and reading comprehension, data interpretation, logical reasoning, quantitative ability.
