CBSE Class 12 Chemistry answer sheets transported in Metro, Delhi lawyer writes to board

A Delhi -based lawyer, Tarun Narang, has written to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), alleging that he spotted sealed parcel containing answer sheets of Chemistry paper being transported in Delhi metro by one person on 13 March while he was commuting in the same.

In his letter to the CBSE, lawyer has said that the schools has violated rules and has transportyed Class XII chemistry board examination answer sheets in Delhi Metro without any security.

According to a report by a leading English daily, the answer sheets were transported by an employee of Mata Kasturi Devi Senior Secondary Public School, located in Najafgarh, on the Metro's Blue Line.

When Narang asked the employee about the packet, he reportedly said the examination superintendent had asked him to drop the answer sheets at the CBSE headquarters in Preet Vihar.

“I was commuting from Dwarka Court Metro station to Janakpuri at around 3 pm. I noticed a man carrying a sealed parcel containing answer sheets of the Class XII chemistry paper,” Narang said in the letter to the CBSE examination controller.

However, the Central Board of Secondary Education said that it has not received any complaint so far, it added that answer sheets need to be transported in a safe manner as “it is a very confidential thing”.
