CBSE NEET Counselling 2017: All India Quota Online process to begin from TODAY at mcc.nic.in

The online process will be done on MCC official website, mcc.nic.in on the basis of NEET UG Result 2016 declared by the CBSE. Over 88,000 candidates had registered for NEET in Tamil Nadu, while more than 84,000 took the test.

All India Medical Online NEET Counselling to begin from Today

All India medical counselling registration will start from Monday based on CBSE NEET Result 2017. CBSE NEET UG Results 2017 (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) was announced at the official website cbseresults.nic.in and cbseneet.nic.in. On May 7, over 11.35 lakh students appeared for the CBSE NEET exams 2017 across the country. 

The online process will be done on MCC official website, mcc.nic.in on the basis of NEET UG Result 2016 declared by the CBSE. Over 88,000 candidates had registered for NEET in Tamil Nadu, while more than 84,000 took the test.

Here is the detailed counselling schedule for all India quota seats:

July 3 to July 11: Registration, Choice Filling (From 5th ) & Indicative Seat:  (Registration will be open up to 05:00 PM of 11th July 2017 only)

July 12: Choice filling and Locking (up to 05:00 PM of 12th July, 2017) 

July 13 to July 14: Process of Seat Allotment - Round 1:

July 15: Round 1 Result publication

July 16 to July 22: Reporting at the Allotted Medical/Dental College against 1st Round

August 1 to August 4: Exercising of Choices and Locking(Round 2) & New Registration (Registration will be open up to 05:00 PM of August 4 only)

August 5 to August 7: Process of Seat Allotment - Round 2

August 8: Round 2 Result publication

August 9 to August 16: Reporting at the Allotted Medical/Dental College against Round 2 (up to 05:00 PM of August 17)

August 16: Transfer of vacant seats to State Quota (After 05:00 PM)

August 4: MBBS/BDS first year session in these medical and dental colleges will be commenced.

About NEET:

As per regulations framed under the Indian Medical Council Act-1956 as amended in 2016 and the Dentists Act-1948 as amended in 2016, NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG) – 2017 will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in India in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament e.g. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry.
