New Delhi:

National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the application deadline for CMAT 2019 till December 7, 2018 which was November 30 earlier. The process of application for Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) began from November 1 and the candidate can register and apply for the exam online by paying application fee.

The application fee for CMAT 2019 for General/OBC is Rs 1400 and SC/ ST/ PWD/ Female/ Transgender is Rs 700 and the payment can be made through Debit/Credit/Net-Banking/E-Wallets. The last date for submission of fees and required documents is December 8 till 11:50 PM.

The Admit card for the examination will be released on January 7 and will only be available to download on official website. No candidate will receive the admit card by post.

Important dates for CMAT 2019:

-          Application date commencement : November 1, 2018

-          Last date to apply: December 7, 2018

-          Last date to pay application fee: December 8, 2018

-          Release of Admit Card: January 7, 2018

-          Date of Examination: January 28, 2019

-          Result date: February 8, 2019

Common Management Admission Test or CMAT is a computer-based management entrance test which consists of four sections Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness.

The candidate earns four marks for every correct answer and one negative for answering incorrectly. There are a total of 100 questions with 25 in each section.

The scores of CMAT are accepted by some of the best B-schools in the country. Until now, CMAT was conducted by AICTE, but, from 2019 onwards the examination will be organised by National Testing Agency (NTA).

It is expected that around 70,000 students will appear for the examination this year.
