Delhi University which is well known as one of the prestigious universities of India has alraedy released 2017 admission form for Merit Based Undergraduate Admissions from May 22.

While UG admission forms have already been released by the university application forms for various UG entrance based & PG courses will be available from 31st May 2017.

Like every year in 2017 too the versity is offering end number of courses in the field of engineering, medical, commerce, science along with some new editions.

Undergraduate Courses (Only Entrance Based)

Eligibility Criteria:

PG Courses:

The eligibility criteria for each programme in which candidate apply is different. Candidate will have to complete their graduation in their specific field from any recognized university.

There is no minimum age bar limit for admission in PG courses at Delhi University, except for courses regulated by bodies such as Medical Council of India, Bar Council of India, etc.

UG Courses:

Candidates have to qualify their Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto.

Candidates have to pass the qualifying examination obtaining minimum marks as specified for each of the courses.

B.Tech Course:

Candidates have to pass their 10+2 level from a recognized board. The minimum aggregate marks as given below (category wise):

General Category: 60 % in four subjects (including mathematics)OBC category: 54% in four subjects (including Mathematics)PH category:

55% in four subjects (including Mathematics)SC/ST category: Passing marks with Mathematics as one subject

Delhi University Exam Pattern

The exam pattern will be different for different academic courses offered by the university.

The PG entrance exam will be OMR based examination. Candidates must note that for UG courses (merit based) there will be no entrance exam.

The entrance exam will be held for UG courses (entrance based) and PG courses.

Delhi University Syllabus

The PG entrance exam syllabus will be different according to the candidate applying course. It contains the detailed syllabus of their graduation degree in specified programme.

The DU syllabus for the entrance test for UG courses is based on the academic syllabus of class 11th and 12th.

Candidates appearing for the UG Courses (entrance based) may check the official syllabus when the notification will be released by the university.

Second Cut-off: Notification of Second Cut-off Marks List by the Colleges Saturday, 24th June 2017

Third Cut-off: Notification of Third Cut-off Marks List by the Colleges Saturday, 1st July 2017

Fourth Cut-off: Notification of Fourth Cut-off Marks List by the Colleges (if any) Friday, 7th July 2017

Fifth Cut-off: Notification of Fifth Cut-off Marks List by the Colleges (if any) Thursday, 13th July 2017

Sixth Cut-off: Notification of Sixth Cut-off Marks List by the Colleges (if any) Tuesday, 18th July 2017
