DU fourth cut-off 2018 released, few seats still available for top courses

The Delhi University had on Thursday night released its fourth cut-off list for admission to undergraduate courses in colleges affiliated to the university. 

While seats had been filled for majority courses, there are still seats available for certain courses in colleges in the North campus.

In certain colleges, seats are vacant for some popular courses such as B.Sc (Hons) Botany, B.Sc (Hons) Computer Science and B.Sc (Hons) Physics, while for humanities stream, seats are vacant for BA (Hons) in Sociology, English and Economics.

Admission is open for most of the B.Sc. courses in Kirori Mal collage. The Cut off for B.Sc. Life Science and B.Sc. Applied Physical Science is 91%, B.Sc. Physics (H) is 95.66%, B.Sc. Chemistry (H) is 95%, B.Sc. Botany (H) is 93%, B.Sc. Zoology (H) is 94%, and for B.Sc. Mathematics is 95.5%. Admission is also open for B.Com. at 96.25% cut off.

At Hans Raj College, seats are available for B.Sc. Botany (H) at 93% for B.Sc. Computer Science (H) the cut off is 95.75%.

B.Sc. Physics (H) is available at Dyal Singh College at 93%, for B.Sc. Physics (H) at 93%, for B.Sc. Zoology (H) at 90%, and for B.Sc. Botany (H) at 88.33%.

At Daulat Ram College, BA Economics (H) is available at 95.75%, BA History (H) is available at 92.5%, and BA English (H) is available at 93.5%.

At Hans Raj College, both B.Com. and BA Economics (h) are available at 96.75%. BA English (H) is available at Hans Raj at 95.75%. 

At Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College BA English (H) is available at 91.5%.

While there has been a drop of 0.25 to two per cent in cut-offs for humanities courses across colleges, a drop of 0.25 to 0.5 per cent has been recorded in cut-offs in science courses.

Students can take admission on July 6, 7 and 9 on the basis of the fourth cut-off list.

There are over 56,000 seats for different courses in the DU.
