JIPMER PG 2019 admissions: Exam date announced; Know eligibility criteria

New Delhi:

Jawaharlal Institute Of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research has started the online registration process for MD and MS courses. Interested candidates can apply through the official website of JIPMER on or before October 26, 2018. The date of the examination has been set for December 2.

There are three medical entrance exams held in India where JIPMER and AIIMS conduct their own entrance exams and are, therefore, exempted from National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to MBBS courses.

1. Last date to apply online: October 26, 2018
2. Download admit card: November 14 to December 2, 2018
3. Examination date: December 2, 2018 (10 AM to 1 PM)
4. Expected publication of merit list: December 12, 2018
5. First counselling session (expected date): December 19, 2018
6. Second counselling session (expected date): January 9, 2019
7. Third counselling session (expected date): January 31, 2019
8. Final counselling session (expected date): February 27, 2019

Candidates appearing in JIPMER MD and MS 2018 entrance exams should have an MBBS degree from a recognised university.
