JoSAA 2nd Round Seat Allotment Results 2017: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has announced the JoSAA 2nd Round Seat Allotment Results 2017 on July 4 at its official website josaa.nic.in .
JoSAA was set up by the HRD Ministry to regulate centralized admissions in premier engineering institutions. The results of first round of seat allocation has been announced at 10 am on 28th June, 2017.Acceptance of seat by reporting at a Reporting Centre (1st round) between 10 am and 5 pm from 29th June 2017 to 3rd July, 2017(5days). The list of reporting centres is available at josaa.nic.in.
According to reprts, a total of 6,799 seats are vacant in various institutes. There are 46 vacant seats in IIT Kharagpur, 25 in IIT Delhi, 19 in IIT Madras and 14 vacant seats in IIT Bombay
Steps to check the JoSAA Seat Allotment 2017:
-Log on to the official website of the JoSAA, josaa.nic.in
-click on the ‘Round 1: Allotment Result”You will be redirected to a new page.
-Your seat allotment will be declared when you click on ‘Login’
-Enter Your Roll Number & DOB and District Name.
-Click on Submit and allotment will appear.T
-Take a Print out of further reference

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has been set up by the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions to 97 institutes for the academic year 2017-18 which includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 23 IIITs and 20 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs). Admission to all the academic programs offered by these Institutes will be made through a single platform.
