National Law Entrance test date announced; Know eligibility criteria

The National Law University (NLU), Delhi has declared the exam date of the All India National Law Entrance Test (AILET). According to the official circular released, AILET will be conducted on May 5, 2019. AILET is held for the admissions of five-year BA LLB (Hons) programme, one-year LLM and PhD programmes.

According to circular the test will be held from 3pm to 4pm at various centres across the country. The forms for the exam will be available from first week of January 2019.

SC/ST Category: Rs 1,050

BA LLB (Hons) programme

The candidates must be Class 12 passed or must have passed senior secondary school examination in any discipline with at least 50 per cent marks.

LLM course

Candidates should have passed LLB or an equivalent degree from a recognised university with at least 5.5 CGPA.

PhD course

The candidates must hold the master's degree in Law from the recognised university with at least 55 per cent marks. For the PhD course five per cent relaxation will be provided to SC/ ST category.
