The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the registration for the first round of counselling for postgraduate medical and dental courses under the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance (NEET) till the evening of March 26.
"Registration of candidates for first round of counseling for PG seats is extended till evening of 26 March 2018," the Ministry of Health tweeted.
The move came hours after candidates started complaining of some technical glitches on the official website of MCC.
"This has been done due to some technical issues with the software because of which the candidates were facing problems in the choices for selection of colleges and courses they want to opt for," according to a Health Ministry official.
This year the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test took place in January and MCC declared the results in February. Earlier, the registration process was scheduled to close on March 24 at 5 PM.
Candidates are advised to visit the official website www.mcc.nic.in for further details regarding the same.
