National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date of registration for NEET UG 2019 by seven days, after the direction from Supreme Court. Earlier, the last date of registration for NEET UG 2019 was November 30, 2018. Supreme Court even allowed the candidates of 25 years and above (30 and above for reserved categories)
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is an entrance exam for the MBBS/BDS/BHMS/BAMS courses in India. For the undergraduate courses, the exam will be conducted on May 5, 2019, i.e Sunday.

The NEET UG 2019 exam paper have one paper with 180 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). The time duration for the paper is three hours and will be conducted in pen and paper mode only.
As per the guidelines, the candidates who have passed by National Testing Agency (NTA), those candidates who have passed class 12 from an open school and the candidates who had either biology or biotechnology as an additional subject at class 12 are not eligible for appearing in NEET UG 2019.
Here are the steps to be followed to register for NEET UG 2019:
- Open the official website of NTA, www.ntaneet.nic.in
- Click ‘New Registration’ link
- Click the ‘Fill Application Form’ link
- Log in with user id and password
- Fill the required fields
- Click Submit
- Download the form
- Take printout of the form for future reference.
NEET UG 2019 score admission will be done for All India Quota seats, State Government Quota Seats, seats available in Central Institutions/ Universities/ Deemed Universities State/ Management/ NRI Quota Seats in Private Medical / Dental Colleges or any Private University and Central Pool Quota Seats.

A note on NTA official website reads, “As per the advice received from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India vide letter dated 20.11.2018, it is hereby informed that the PwD candidates may fill in the Online Application Form of NEET (UG) 2019 on the basis of the draft guidelines placed on the website of the Medical Council of India (MCI)’’.
