NIOS releases hall tickets for 3rd D.El.Ed Exam in December, details inside

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) on Thursday released the hall ticket for Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) examination. The exams will be conducted on December 20-21 and the candidates can download the hall tickets from the official website, which https://www.dled.nios.ac.in.

Conducted by NIOS, the D.EI.Ed is a training program for untrained in-service teachers which was launched in October 2017 after an amendment passed in the Parliament in the RTE bill.

As per the amendment in the RTE Act, 2009, all the un-trained in-service elementary teachers would have successfully complete the course by March next year.

The National Institute of Open Schooling has been conducting D.EI.Ed since October 2017 and a large number of un-trained in-service elementary teachers have enrolled and are pursuing the course  through NIOS.

Next week, NIOS will be conducting the 3rd edition of the examination for two subjects Understanding Children in Inclusive Context (506), Community and Elementary Education (507) and the candidates can download their admit card for the same using their enrolment number and date of birth. The timing for the examination will be afternoon session from 2pm to 5pm.

The information which is made available for the candidates on the official wesite:

  1. Candidates Should carry the I card issued by NIOS and the print out of the Hall Ticket/Intimation card without which the candidates will not be allowed to enter into the Examination Hall
  2. Apart from the I card and the Hall ticket, candidates should carry one valid Photo ID Proof issued by the Government to enter into the Examination Hall.

An official statement from NIOS reads, ‘’The result of examinations is likely to be declared in 8 to 10 weeks after the last date of examination. No queries about the actual date of declaration of results will be entertained. The result will also be available on the NIOS website www.nios.ac.in soon after its declaration’’.

'Copy of the relevant portion of the result will be provided to the Accredited Vocational Institutions immediately after the declaration of results. The Marks Statements and the Passing Certificates of the candidates will be made available through the concerned AVI’’, the statement adds.
