QS world university rankings 2018: IIT-D, IIT-B graduates highly employable, DU alumni most successful in India

Indian universities feature below 190 in the QS world university rankings of educational institutions on the basis of the employability of their graduates. The QS world university rankings has released the 2018 list of educational institutions on the basis of the employability of their graduates.

And Indian universities have not fared very well.

The coveted Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD) and Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) have been ranked in the 191-200 category globally.

But there is good news for DU alumni.

Even though, University of Delhi only managed to break into 201-250 bracket along with Mumbai University, it has been ranked as the country’s leading provider of highly successful alumni, due to one of the highest scores in the world for QS’s Alumni Outcomes indicator.

Alumni Outcomes indicator measures how successful a university is at producing highly-achieving graduates. The Delhi University is the 21st highest worldwide, scoring 96.6 out of 100.
