Candidates who are eagerly waiting to appear for CBSE UGC NET 2017 need to hurry as the application process for the same is going to end by today, i.e. September 11.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had given a kick-start to the online application process long back in August and is going to put an end on Monday, September 11, 2017. According to reports, CBSE UGC NET 2017 is scheduled to take place on November 5, 2017.
Every year CBSE conducts UGC NET across the country in order to select candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/or for Assistant Lecturership in Indian universities and colleges.
Though, examination pattern of UGC NET 2017 remains same as previous years, there is a little change in the shortlisting criteria of the exam. While CBSE used to shortlist top 15% candidates earlier, from now on only top 6% candidates would be considered as qualified for the same.
Meanwhile, this sudden change in the process had caused huge protests from aspirants all over India.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will make the admit cards available on its official portal in the third week of October.
