AP Grama Volunteer Recruitment 2019: Here's everything about results
AP Grama/Ward Volunteer Results 2019: Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department of Andhra Pradesh state was expected to release the AP Grama/Ward Volunteer results 2019 on Thursday, 1 August. The final merit list for the recruitment is expected anytime today.
Over 4 lakh gram volunteers will be employed by the Andhra Pradesh government through the recruitment drive. The Department had earlier invited application from 12th and 10th pass candidates for the position and the registration process has closed noe.
For volunteering in a tribal area, the candidate must qualify Class 10 board exam, for volunteers in Rural areas one has to be an intermediate pass, and to volunteer in the cities, one must complete graduation.
Reports also suggested the AP Grama Volunteer results will also be released at gramavolunteer1.ap.gov.in
According to the data provided on the official website, 9,62,708 candidates have registered for the posts, and out of which the department has approved 9,26,264 applications. It had rejected 36,444 applications.
The Gram Volunteers will be responsible for delivering government services and at door step of all eligible households and assist the benificiaries to access the various government schemes extended by the government for the development of the village and cities.
One volunteer will be assigned per 50 households in rural areas of Andhra Pradesh. Each volunteer will be paid Rs. 5000 per month.
According to the official notification, selected candidates through the AP Grama Volunteer results would be given two days' induction training conducted betwee August 5 and August 15
The positioning and commencement of work by Village volunteers will begin from August 15, 2019.
