The Indian Railways on Wednesday said that two more trains would run between Bihar’s Muzaffarpur and Secunderabad in Telangana to clear extra rush of passengers for Assistant Loco pilots and technical examination, according to sources.

The railways had on Tuesday announced special trains for the candidates who have to travel a long distance to appear for RRB ALP examination, 2018.

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will be conducting the Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician examination from August 09, 2018, for which nearly 48 lakh candidates will appear for the first set of the computer-based tests for 66,502 vacancies of assistant loco-pilots (ALP) and technicians on Thursday.

“The 05289 Muzaffarpur-Secunderabad special train departed from Muzaffarpur this noon and will arrive at Secunderabad at 1 pm on Friday. The return 05290 Secunderabad-Muzaffarpur train will depart from Secunderabad at 9 pm on Friday and arrive at Muzaffarpur at 2 am on Sunday,” according to a railway statement.

The train will stop at Samastipur, Barauni, Mokama, Bakhtiyapur, Patna, Ara, Buxar, Dildarnagar, Pt Deen Dayal Upadaya, Allahabad Cheoki, Satna, Katni, Jabalpur, Itarsi, Nagpur and Balharshah stations.

On Tuesday, the railways had announced three special trains—Patna-Indore-Patna, Danapur-Secunderabad and Darbhanga Secunderabad to help clear the rush of passengers during the exam phase.
