CGTET 2019 notification released @cgvyapam.choice.gov.in, details here

The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB) has released the notification for Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test (CGTET) 2019 on its official website. The candidates who are preparing for the examination can apply online through - cgvyapam.choice.gov.in up till February 3, 2019 (11:59 pm).

This year, the CG TET examination will be held on February 24, 2019 (Sunday) in 27 districts across the state. The exam will be conducted in two shifts - first shift exam will be conducted from 09:30 am to 12:15 pm for Class 1 to 5 while the second shift exam will be conducted from 02:00 pm to 04:45 pm for Class 6 to 8.

Date of examination: February 24, 2019

Category: Single Paper: Both Paper

General : Rs. 350/-: Rs. 600/-

OBC: Rs 250/-: Rs 400/-

SC/ST/PH: Rs. 200/-: Rs. 300/-

Before applying for the examination, the candidates must check whether their qualification meet the board’s requirement.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Primary Level (Class I -V)

Senior Secondary or Equivalent exam and 50% marks with appearing in the final year or passed the 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.).

Secondary Level (Class VI to VIII)

Graduation in any discipline and appearing in the final year or passed the 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) by whatever name its known.
