Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is likely to release admit card for the RRB NTPC (Railway Recruitment Board Non-Technical Popular Categories) computer-based test (CBT) stage 1 exam next week. Yes, you read it right. According to reports, RRB may issue a notice in this regard soon. Candidates, who have applied for the exam, can download RRB NTPC 2019 admit card from the official website of regional RRBs - rrbcdg.gov.in, rrbajmer.gov.in, rrbmumbai.gov.in, rrbsecunderabad.nic.in etc once it is released.
It is to be noted that there are 35,208 Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) vacancies available. Admit card is generally released four days prior to the exam. The candidates who have applied for these positions should check the RRB websites for latest updates. RRB posts notifications on all the 21 official regional websites.
Candidates can visit this link - https://www.rrcb.gov.in/rrbs.html - to get the details of the regional websites. It is to be noted that the candidates will have to download the admit card from the official RRB websites. No hard copy of the admit card will be sent to the candidates by RRB. However, the RRB will send SMS and email to the candidates on their registered mobile numbers and email IDs.
Steps to download RRB NTPC CBT 1 Admit Card 2019:
- Firstly, applicants must visit the RRB regional official websites, available in this link - rrcb.gov.in/rrbs.html
- Then the applicants have to click on "RRB NTPC CBT I Admit Card 2019" link.
- The applicants should enter Registration number and date of birth in the designated bar.
- Press the Submit button.
- The applicants will now be able to Download the RRB NTPC Admit Card 2019 and can take a printout for future use.
It is worth mentioning here that selection will be based on 2 stage Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by a Skill Test (Computer based Aptitude Test for Station Master & Traffic Assistant, Typing Skill Test for Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist and Senior Time Keeper).
After this there will be document verification & medical test. For Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Commercial Apprentice, there will be 2 stage CBT followed by document verification and medical test.
Candidates will be shortlisted for 2nd CBT on the basis of marks obtained by them in 1st CBT. The short listing for Skill Tests i.e. Computer based Aptitude Test (CBAT) and Typing Skill Test will be to the extent of eight times the vacancies (it can increase or decrease as per the requirement of Railways) based on the merit of the applicants in 2nd Stage CBT. Applicants must be able to type 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi on computer only without editing tools and spell check facility.
