HSSC (Haryana Staff Selection Commission) has issued the official recruitment notification for 3,864 vacancies for PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) on the official website, i.e. hssc.gov.in. The online registration has already begun and will end on September 5. Candidates who wish to apply for the PGT post need to apply before September 5. The selection to the post of PGT will be done based on written exam followed by the socio-economic experience of the candidate.
The PGT written exam will be divided into various sections wherein 75% of the questions will be asked from the sections of Reasoning, General Awareness, Science, Mathematics, English, Computer, Hindi and other respective subjects. In addition, the 25% of questions will be asked from current affairs, history, geography, literature, etc. The written exam will of 90 marks, and the socio-economic criteria will carry 10 marks, making it a total of 100 marks.
In the Socio-economic criteria section, the Haryana Staff Selection Commission will allot marks according to the candidate’s status. For example, a candidate who is a first or second child of deceased father will be awarded 5 marks. In the same way, widow applicants will also be awarded 5 marks as well.
