OSSSC (Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission) has issued the admit cards for the Excise Constable Recruitment Exam 2019. Candidates who have applied for the constable recruitment exam can download the admit card from the official website of OSSSC. Importantly, the written test of OSSSC constable exam will be held on September 8, 2019.
In the meantime, the commission has already conducted physical efficiency and physical standard measurement test for shortlisting candidates for the written exam. The physical tests were held from January 18 to January 31.
The exam is conducted for filling up 219 vacancies in Excise Constable Post. Earlier, the recruitment notification was released in October last year.
Meanwhile, candidates will be selected based on their performance in the physical efficiency test, physical standard measurement test, educational qualification and written test. The final merit list will be prepared from a 100 marks paper. The paper will include 60 marks from written test.
The written test for constable post will include questions from general knowledge and mathematics. Candidates will also have to take a translation test (Odia to English) that would carry 20 marks.
The time duration of the test will be of 2 hours.
