The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has extended the main exam dates of Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS). The decision to extend the dates came after the Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) aspirants agitated demanding the extension of dates. According to the statement released by the commission, a meeting was conducted at the Chief Minister’s residence where it was decided that the examination should be conducted in time and in an organised manner in future. All hurdles should be removed in a systematic manner to ensure aspirants are not affected.
Many other issues that included like farm-loan waiver and removing educational norms in local body and panchayat elections, were discussed in the meeting, confirmed State cabinet minister Parsadi Lal Meena to Times Now.
This is not the first time that the commission has extended the examination dates, earlier also the RPSC RAS examination date were extended from December 23 and 24, 2018 to January 28 and 29, 2019. The examination will fill up 980 posts through Rajasthan State Service Exam and Rajasthan Subordinate service.
The final dates have not been confirmed yet.
