The wait for 1.8 crore candidates who appeared for the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Group D Examination 2018-19 will finally be over as the board has confirmed that the results of the RRB Group D exam will be announced on March 4. The RRB will announce the list of candidates shortlisted for PET on Monday. The Exams for the RRB Group D CEN 02/2018 were held between September 17 and December 17, 2018.
The RRB Group D 2018 results will be announced in two parts – merit list and scorecard. While names of candidates who have qualified for RRB Group D Physical Efficiency Test (PET) round will be mentioned in the merit list, the scorecard would be available for all the candidates who appeared for the exam.
In the PET examinations, the candidates will have to perform various physical tasks, including running and lifting the weight. The male candidates will have to carry 35 kg weight for 100 meters in 2 minutes while the female candidates will have to carry 20 kg for 100 meters also in 2 minutes.
In the running, the male candidates will have to cover the distance of 1 km in 4 minutes and 15 seconds while the female candidates will have to cover the same distance in 5 minutes and 40 seconds.
Those who will qualify the PET test will be called for the final round which is document verification. The candidates who will complete this process will be given the joining letters.
