RRB NTPC 2019 admit card is expected to be released soon by the Railway Recruitment Board. Candidates, who have applied for the exam, are waiting eagerly for the admit card. It is worth mentioning here that the students can download RRB NTPC 2019 admit card from the official website of regional RRBs - rrbcdg.gov.in, rrbajmer.gov.in, rrbmumbai.gov.in, rrbsecunderabad.nic.in etc once it is released.

The official notice released by the Board earlier this month stated that the tentative date of exam is - July to September. However, the Board is yet to release the exact dates and time of the RRB NTPC 2019 exam.

According to past trends, the RRB NTPC 2019 admit card is expected to be released 4-5 days prior to the exam. Applicants will get the details of examination city and exam date in the hall ticket.

Selection Process of RRB NTPC 2019:         

  • 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
  • 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
  • Typing Skill Test or Computer Based Aptitude Test (as applicable)
  • Document Verification/Medical Test

It is to be noted that the selection will be based on 2 stage Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by a Skill Test (Computer based Aptitude Test for Station Master & Traffic Assistant, Typing Skill Test for Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist and Senior Time Keeper).

After this there will be document verification & medical test. For Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Commercial Apprentice, there will be 2 stage CBT followed by document verification and medical test.

Candidates will be shortlisted for 2nd CBT on the basis of marks obtained by them in 1st CBT. The short listing for Skill Tests i.e. Computer based Aptitude Test (CBAT) and Typing Skill Test will be to the extent of eight times the vacancies (it can increase or decrease as per the requirement of Railways) based on the merit of the applicants in 2nd Stage CBT. Applicants must be able to type 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi on computer only without editing tools and spell check facility.
