SSC CGL Tier 1 exam result is expected to be released today. The exam was concluded in the month of June, and commission had already released the tentative date for result declaration for the SSC Tier 1 exam. The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was conducted from June 4 to June 13, 2019. 25 Lakhs of candidates registered for the SSC CGL exam, nevertheless only 8,34,746 candidates appeared for the SSC exam. The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam result is expected to be released today at ssc.nic.in.
Along-with the result, Staff Selection Commission will release the category wise cut-off marks. Candidates who will qualify the tier 1 exam will have to take the tier II exam. The SSC CGL Tier II exam is expected to be held from September 11 to September 13, 2019.
The CGL Tier II exam will also be a CBT (Computer Based Test) and will comprise four papers, i.e. English Language and Comprehension, Quantitative Abilities, Statistics and General Studies (Finance and Economics)
For the Tier II Exam, Paper I and Paper II are mandatory for all posts. Paper III is for candidates who will apply for the Junior Statistical Officer. Other than this, Paper IV is for those who are selected in Tier I for Paper IV, i.e. for the posts of Assistant Accounts Officer/ Assistant Audit Officer.
