In order to apply for the junior engineer post, candidates should possess a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution or university.
SSC JE 2019 Exam: Important Dates
The list of important dates for SSC JE 2019 Exam is as follows:
- Submission of online applications: August 13, 2019 to September 12, 2019
- Last date for receipt of applications: September 12, 2019 (17:00)
- Last date for making online fee payment: September 14, 2019 (17:00)
SSC JE 2019 Exam: Age limit:
The upper age limit for Junior Engineer post is 32 years for most of the departments.
SSC JE 2019 Exam: Selection Process
The selection process for the JE (Junior Engineer) post will comprise written examination, which will be followed by physical efficiency test and document verification. The written exam includes two paper, Paper I and Paper II.
Paper 1 will be a computer based test and paper II will be descriptive test. Paper I will comprise questions from the topics of general intelligence & reasoning, general engineering and general awareness.
Paper II will primarily comprise questions from the subject of general engineering. Meanwhile, in paper I and Paper II, candidates will be required to attempt only the respective part as per the given option.
