Staff Selection Comission will be holding the Multi Tasking Staff Examination, 2019 in the month of August and September.

According to a notification published on the Employment News, the examination will be conducted in the Computer Based Mode for recruitment to the posts of Multi Tasking (NonTechnical) Staff (also known as MTS) in different Ministries/Departments of Government of India and their Attached and Subordinate Offices during the period from August 2, 2019 to September 6, 2019. 
The Second paper of the SSC MTS recruitment will be conducted on November 17

A detailed notification will be released on the SSC's official website on April 22.

The minimum essential qualification required for Non-Technical staff recruitment  is that the candidate should have passed the Matriculation or equivalent Examinations from a recognized Board or a University. 

The candidates should be between 18 years and 25 years of age. The age relaxation for the reserved category candidates will be in accoradance with the instructions given in the official notification.

For Age-limit, Reservation, Age-relaxation, Examination Scheme and other details, the candidates may refer to detailed notice of examination to be uploaded on the website of the Commission, ssc.nic.in.

Recruited candidates will be be entitles to a pay band i.e. Rs 5200- 20200 plus grade pay of Rs 1800.

Selection to SSC MTS posts will be done through two exams. Paper 1 will be objective in nature and it will have 300 questions to be answered in 2 hours duration. 

Candidates will be required to write a short essay or letter in the other paper that will carry 50 marks. Time duration allotted for paper II is 30 minutes.

The Commission annually conducts eight mandated all India open competitive examinations for filling up regular vacancies in central government offices
