Uttar Pradesh Provincial Civil Service or UP PCS examinations for Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services will be held on June 21 and the notification or the same is awaited.
Selection to Uttar Pradesh Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services is a two-step process which stars with Prelims and ends with Mains exam. The cities allotted for conducting the exams at its centers are Agra, Ayodhya, Jhansi, Lucknow, Mathura, Ghaziabad, Jaunpur, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Rao Bareli, Prayagraj, Moradabad, Meerut, Mirzapur, Mathura.
Candidates have to prepare for two compulsory exam papers and the answers will be marked in an OMR sheet. The mains exams will consist of an subjective exam followed by an interview. About 300 vacancies were notified last year, 64% less than what the students for competing for in 2018. The number of vacancies are decreasing every year. The official announcement will give a clear idea of the number of posts open for hiring this year.
The exam conducting body Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has meanwhile release the application form for candidates who have cleared the Prelims exams and are qualified to appear for UPPSC Mains Exam. Candidates can visit the official website to summit the application form February 26 to March 26, 2020. The candidates can complete the application process latest by March 21, 2020.
