Days long wait has come to an end as the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Friday released the admit cards for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) exam. The UPSC has made the admit cards available at its official website which is upsc.gov.in. The commission will conduct the CDS (I) exam on February 3, 2019, for admission to various courses in Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy. This year, CDS (I) will grant admission to as many as 417 seats in Indian Military Academy Dehradun, Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala, Air Force Academy Hyderabad-(Pre-Flying) 32 Training Course, Officers' Training Academy Chennai (Madras)- 111th SSC (Men) Course (NT) and Officers Training Academy Chennai-25th SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course.

Check out the steps to download CDS (I) 2019 Admit Card:
Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC i.e. upsc.gov.in
Step 2: Click on the link 'UPSC CDS (I) 2019 admit card'
Step 3: You will be directed to an instruction page
Step 4: Click on OK button
Step 5: Fill in your registration ID or Roll number and date of birth along with captcha
Step 6: CDS (I) admit card will appear on screen
Step 7: Download and take a print out of the same for future convenience.

As per the official guidelines, the candidates will not be allowed to appear for their CDS (I) examination unless he/she carries an e-Admit Card to their respective centres. Candidates who are yet to receive their CDS (I) 2019 Admit Card are advised to contact the Commission soon. In case of any discrepancies or errors in the admit cards, aspirants should bring it to the notice of UPSC immediately.
