UPSC Civil Services Prelims Examinations results will be released anytime now. This year the exams were held on June 02, 2019. Although the commission has not made any official confirmation, but if you follow last year trends, the results will release this month. The comission releases the prelims results normally within 45 days of the exam.
UPSC Civile Services Prelms Cut-off prediction 2019:
The UPSC Civil Service IAS Preliminary examination 2019 was moderate to difficult this year. So the cut-off for the unreserved category is expected to be between 95-105, whereas for OBC it is expected between 90-100, 85-95 for SC and 80-90 for ST. The expected cut-off for EWS is 95-105.
In 2016 the cutoff was 116 out of 200 marks, in 2017 it declined to 105 in 2017 and 98 in 2018 for the unreserved category. Cnadidates who have roughly done checking their papers with answer keys available on various websites and have secured anything around 90 should start preparing for UPSC Civil Services Mians Examination 2019 to be held in October.
In 2018, UPSC Civil Services Prelims exam was held on June 03 and the results were declared on July 14, 2018. This year the exams took playes a day earlier and hence the results will also be declared around the same date, on or before July 14 or on any day in the secound week of July.

- Click on 'UPSC Civil Services Prelims Result 2019 that will apear on the homescreen as results are declared
- Enter your roll number and date of birth before clicking on the Submit button.
- A PDF file will appear on your screenthat will contani your roll no and not name.
All those who would qualify would be required to fill their DAF and choose an optional subject for the UPSC CSE Mains Examination.
Mains exam will have two qualifying papers: Paper A – one Indian language, Paper B – English, each of 300 marks. Then there will be papers to be counted for merit: Paper I – Essay, Paper II – GS I (Indian Culture and Heritage, World History Geography and Society), Paper III – GS II (Constitution, Governance, International relations, Polity, Social Justice), Paper IV – GS III (Bio-diversity, Disaster Management, Economic Development, Environment, Security, Technology), Paper V – GS IV (Aptitude, Ethics, Integrity), Paper VI – Optional Subject Paper 1, Paper VII – Optional Subject Paper 2; each of 250 marks.
Thus, the sub-total of written tests in mains exam is of 1750 marks. After that, there is a personality test of 275 marks. Thus, bringing the grand total to 2025 marks.
