UPSC Civil Services prelims exam TODAY: Know last minute important tips

Union Public Service Commission conducted the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination–2017 on June 18 (Sunday) across India. The candidates are required to take a printout their e‐Admit Cards. 

The admitted candidates will have to produce the printout of their e‐Admit Card at the allotted Venue for appearing in the Examination. In case the photograph is not visible or available on the e‐Admit Card, candidates are advised to carry two(2) identical photographs (one photograph for each session) along with proof of Identity such as Identity Card; Voter Identity Card; Passport; Driving License or Aadhaar Card and the printout of e‐Admit Card at the Venue of the Examination.

The Commission has uploaded the e‐Admit Card for the convenience of the admitted candidates on its website (https://www.upsc.gov.in.). 

Candidates are also advised to bring Black Ball Point Pen to the Examination Hall on the day of Examination as the candidates shall be required to fill the OMR Answer Sheets and Attendance Lists with Black Ball Point Pen only. 

Electronic Gadgets like Cellular/ Mobile Phones, any other devices for communication, laptop, Bluetooth device, and calculator are banned inside the Examination Hall. 

Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action against the candidates concerned including debarment from future Examinations/Selection. Valuable/costly items and bags are also not allowed inside the Examination Venue.
