The days long wait has finally come to an end as the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board on Tuesday released the UPTET 2018 result for Upper Primary Level. On December 4, the board had declared the UPTET 2018 results for candidates opting for the primary level that is Class 1 to Class 5 and made the results available at the official website on December. Meanwhile, candidates, who are waiting eagerly for their UPTET results for Upper Primary Level may visit the board's official website (upbasiceduboard.gov.in) to download the same. The candidates who have cracked the UPTET examination are also eligible to apply for recruitments to Assistant Teacher jobs in government schools affiliated to the board.

According to reports, the pass percentage for Upper Primary Level is around 33 per cent, almost similar to the pass percentage for primary level candidates, released earlier in December.

Step 1: Visit official UP Basic Education Board website: www.upbasiceduboard.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the result link provided for UPTET 2018 result.

Step 3: Provide important details such as roll number and security code.

Step 4: Click on Submit.

Step 5: Results will be appeared on your screen.

Step 6: Download your UPTET 2018 results

Step 7: Take a print out of the same for future convenience.

About UPTET:

Teacher Eligibility Test, popularly known as TET is an Indian entrance examination for teachers. The test is mandatory for getting teaching jobs in government schools from Class 1 to Class 8. While the paper 1 is meant for teachers opting for Class 1 to Class 5 the paper 2 is for Class 6 to Class 8. It is conducted by both Central government and state governments every year across India.
